Better Made Snack Foods HQ
Commercial Design
Project Size: 12,000 Sq.ft. | Project Length: 9 Weeks
Design Brief
At the heart of the Better Made Snack Food Headquarters is the idea of community and collaboration where ever you turn. The concept of the Chip bag is embedded throughout the design of the office space. The use of angular walls simulate the crumple present on the chip bag when you open it. As you move further into the space, architectural elements in the office become softer and more curvilinear. These features are meant to represent the transition from the chip bag to the chips inside the bag where you become part of a group rather than a singular element. Various pathways and circulation patterns contrasted with clear wayfinding symbolizes that there is no wrong way to eat a chip out of a chip bag. The use of districts, nodes, and landmarks will be pertinent in order to allow for navigation to be simple but effective through the office. Pops of bold primary colors will be added into the space to mimic the designs showcased on the Better Made Snack Food’s chip bag.
